A Hen’s Party in Full Bloom

What a fun hen’s event hosted at the iconic Melbourne restaurant and event space, Chin Chin! It was even dreamier to have been able to arrange some fun florals for the tablescape. Vee sent through some inspo pics with a Barbie pink and purple color scheme. She gave me the creative freedom work with seasonal blooms, which was so exciting! Being trusted for your vision couldn’t be more flattering and liberating ♥️ I’ve been really into embellishing stationery with other elements, so why not translate these to florals? I’ve seen other florists decorate anthuriums with pearls, so I had to give this a go. I love the way it turned out and the instant wow factor it gives. Of course, I had to add a subtle touch of ribbon to the orchids. But most unique would have to be the tinsel. I was inspired by last year’s Christmas trend and decided to add a little sparkle to the arrangement in the same way. I haven’t seen this done before, so I’m stoked to have been able to come up with something new and exciting (certainly the creative thrill I haven’t felt in a long time). Adding stationery and styling to Emclectic has been really stimulating. I guess I’ve always been the kind to love wearing different hats, and instead of it stifling or suppressing this creative energy in the name of having a ‘cohesive business model’, I’m trying to embrace it as much as I can! I suppose I’m living up to the concept and name of the brand, Emclectic.😅 I hope you guys appreciate the variety 🌸
